Love club - S C O U T (first draft) and audience feedback

Audience feedback
I have proceeded to show others / my demographic audience the first draft of my video and these are the results of that.
Overall the product was well received, they said that the idea was very well thought out and presented in a way they understood it to a certain degree, which is understandable as it is more of a subliminal video rather than it being explained in full detail, for this concept to work I knew I would need an active audience.
Another positive comment was that they thought it fit the genre very well as it was really edgy and out there but still had the overtones, such as using regular people that juxtaposed with the drag queen that kept it grounded.
However it was mentioned that it did seem rather dark and some of the visuals could not be seen such as myself bumping into another actor, Ben, which when looking back now to editing the video I did try everything I could to make it as bright as I could, unfortunately from the feedback I can see now that it is still not bright enough and the only way to over come this will be to re-film the entire video.
The benefits of re-filming would be that it would obviously be brighter, I could obviously get the original costume I wanted for the drag queen and re-work the make up as when I watched the footage I noticed that the light that we had washed me out and you couldn't really see my make up such as my contour and highlight.
There were suggestions to film it during the day so we get the desired brightness and then I can just put into night mode in premier pro so that it looks like it was filmed in the night, however there would be a lot of downsides to filming it in the day such as :
The sun would cast unwanted shadows that I cannot erase where as when it is done at night the brightest light is ours so any shadow is cast away and you can see whatever's in front of the camera very clearly, another would be that there is more of the public around and we certainly wouldn't be able to wear the costumes that me and Megan, the prostitute, are wearing.
So in conclusion I think that I will film it in the dark once more, but this time in a brighter location with more street lights overall giving us more light and a better outcome.
